Assembla is excited to announce the latest update to Cornerstone, the #1 SVN client for Mac!

The release of Cornerstone 4.2 takes advantage of Mac’s most recent operating system update, macOS Catalina, to deliver a desktop SVN experience that’s easier to use and faster than ever.

New Features

• Cornerstone now supports Dark Mode!
• Improved performance and bug fixes for macOS 10.15 Catalina. The minimum supported macOS version is now 10.14.
• Option to register a new license key to your Cornerstone application if your license had previously expired.

How to upgrade

1. If you currently have Cornerstone open on your machine, save your work and quit Cornerstone, making sure to push any changes you currently have shelved.
2. Download the Cornerstone 4.2 installer by clicking the “Free Trial” button on https://cornerstone.assembla.com.
3. Copy the Cornerstone 4.2 disk image into your Applications folder. This will overwrite the previous version of Cornerstone you had installed.
4. Open Cornerstone from your Applications folder. This will automatically open Cornerstone 4.2.*

*To upgrade to Cornerstone 4.2, you must have a valid annual subscription purchased through Assembla after January 15, 2018 at https://cornerstone.assembla.com/store.

For users on version 4.1 or later: 4.2 is a free update included in your existing Cornerstone annual subscription. To access the update, simply follow the steps above.

For users on version 3.1 and older: 4.2 is a paid upgrade, and you must purchase an annual subscription to gain access to this update. With a valid annual subscription, all future updates to Cornerstone can be downloaded for no additional charge.
